Our Ethos
Newport Pre-school is a child-led setting, where children have the freedom to explore, investigate, question and solve problems, promoting learning in all 7 areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
We use our continuous provision and enabling environment to foster inquisitive children who embrace their own learning direction; as, when children direct their own learning, there becomes a deeper motivation to gain knowledge, and the progress they make is extraordinary.
Through positive relationships with practitioners, we discover children’s individual learning styles and embrace, support and encourage children to be adventurous and creative learners, laying a foundation for lifelong learning.
At Newport Pre-school the children are at the heart of everything we do and by fostering a warm, safe, supportive and loving environment, our children make excellent progress and are prepared for their next stage of learning.
